Day 4 – Round 2
So heading back to the gym today (Wednesday 3rd, October), to retry a refined version of the first routing again. This time with slightly less optimistic numbers and adding in a couple of things for the variety. After the success of day 2, and the utter crappiness of yesterday (day 3), I’m hoping this morning will fall at least somewhere in between.
I’ve a bit of a cold about me as well I think. Been sniffling all morning so I’m sure the fit people at the gym will be slightly anxious of an infectious me showing up. Then again it could be allergies, so they will all be safe. It’s like nasal Russian roulette.
So the routine plan for this morning is…

So pretty close to target. I knew I was going to struggle on the shoulder press and bench press again. I’m going to keep everything else the same and see how it goes. Tomorrow will be Reboot 2 again. Let’s see how I get on there.
In terms of mood, its improved a little although I still feel quite grumpy. I’m tracking that too but haven’t found an API I can leverage to build a plugin yet. I’ll add a post about those shortly as these gym journals will get a bit boring otherwise.
One thing worth noting today is that I drank water like a fish and felt quite sick afterwards. Although I did sweat like crazy this time. Maybe thats a good think given that fat, when broken down leaves the body as hydrogen and oxygen (H2O = water).
I’ll try and update something later today on both the mood and the development work and how it links in to the apps I’m using. I’ve still not found a satisfactory combination of those but that topic definitely rates a post of its own.
