Day 5 – Stones!
Today was a complete wash-out. Just after the school run I felt the now familiar burn in the stomach making its way up to my chest. By the time I was sat in the car, in my gym gear and about to head out, the sweats had started and I had a full-blown gall-stone attack. That put me out of action for around 8 hours and now I feel like a horse has kicked me in the chest. So today was useless from a fitness perspective. The odd thing this time is I didn’t eat anything that was likely to trigger it. Simply the normal breakfast of shredded wheat and 1% fat milk, the same breakfast I’ve been having for weeks now. Maybe it passed a threshold or maybe something undigested from the night before? Whatever it was I’ll move on tomorrow and try to pickup where I left off with routine 2.
